    CITIZENS TRI-COUNTY BANK POISED FOR MORE GROWTH

    Citizens Tri-County Bank, headquartered in Dunlap, TN, recently announced the plan to acquire the Smartt Station branch of the Berkshire Bank by the end of 2015. This will become the fourth location of the Citizens Tri-County Bank (CTCB) located at 101 E Main St. in downtown McMinnville. Local VP & Branch Manager Shane Brock advises that with 18 full service offices, five drive thru offices, 26 ATM’S. With $650 million in managed assets, CTCB is the largest “community bank” in our area. CTCB is located in 7 other surrounding counties for your banking convenience & they are Sequatchie, Bledsoe, Marion, Hamilton (Signal Mountain & Soddy Daisy), Grundy, Van Buren, and Coffee (Tullahoma). The bank was formed in 1972 and has a long history of branch growth and acquisition. CTCB has 252 employees system wide.
     

    Citizens Tri-County Bank started in McMinnville ten years ago by acquiring Cumberland Bank. Locations of the local branch are in the shopping plaza near the 70S/56 intersection and at 900 Beersheba Hwy @ Mt. Leo. Currently CTCB McMinnville has twelve employees and we welcome the addition of six more at the new location, which will make a total of eighteen employees.     Shane Brock was born and raised in McMinnville and has been the branch manager seven of the ten years CTCB has been in McMinnville. Shane is an alumnus of Motlow-McMinnville and earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Trevecca in Nashville in Management & Human Resources. Shane and the CTCB staff are involved in many community efforts & events. CTCB makes available office space for Families in Crisis on the second floor of the downtown branch building. CTCB is also an enthusiastic supporter of Main Street McMinnville, proud sponsors of The Park Theatre located next door to the bank, heavily involved in RELAY FOR LIFE and CTCB is a Partner in Education with Irving College along with being proud supporters of the Warren County Pioneers. Some of the bank employees are currently and have in times past served on Leadership and Community Boards and Committees.


    Dana Green is currently Assistant Vice President and Branch Manager of the Smart Station branch of Berkshire Bank and has been at this location for 10 years. She was born and raised in McMinnville and has two children. Dana is an Alumnus of Motlow-McMinnville and earned her Associates Degree in Business with an emphasis in Accounting. She is an avid gardener and especially enjoys her roses. Some of her special community interests include the Warren County Meals on Wheels Program where she currently serves on the Board and also on the Budget Committee. Dana also helps deliver meals to the Warren County residents.


    The corporate website for CTCB is www.citizenstricounty.com which accesses a number of their services including on-line banking, applications for VISA & MasterCard for consumers or businesses, mortgage applications, etc. CTCB also has a strong presence on social media. CTCB is large enough to have their own mortgage loan program, which allows them the potential to offer 20 or 30 year fixed rate loans. This also allows them the ability to offer loans outside Warren County.
